Objectives: At the end of the one-day seminar-workshop,
participants should be able to:
1. Explain outcome-based education
framework in one’s own curricular setting,
2. Discuss the nature and development
of higher order thinking skills and their vital role in promoting
transformative learning among dentistry students,
3.
Formulate
relevant and valid objectives that reflect learning outcomes,
4.
Organize
topics in OBE,
5.
Design
interactive strategies to achieve learning outcomes,
6.
Formulate
an evaluation plan using the Kirkpatrick’s model, and
7.
Construct
sample tools for workplace-based assessment.
